Some more Memphis, Tenn.

Here are some more Memphis photos that I got the last time I was there. The first one is actually at sunrise, it's just been edited. :) My brother said there is usually a mist rising from the river which would of made a beautiful shot, however it was cold that morning, and cloudy and therefore no mist or much sun either! :( Maybe next time I will be able to get it. :) Anyway, here are some of the pictures, and a few quick collages made through Picasa! :) ...By the way, this is gotta be the longest post yet. :)

Penguins

I really like penguins and enjoyed this part of the St. Louis Zoo. I thought it was very neat to be able to walk through were they were kept and see them up close. One swam right up to the edge where we were, close enough to touch! We didn't though. :) I really needed my tripod to get some good steady pictures of the penguins, but here's the best I got that day. The ones outside turned out better than the ones I took inside.

Here is the last of my zoo pictures, at least for a while! I'm hoping to start putting up more landscape and flowers!! :) It's getting that time of year!!!

The Playful Giraffe

These are some pictures of a young giraffe that was running and skipping around that day we were at the St. Louis zoo. I've heard it likes to do that same routine often. The ostrich sometimes would get mad and chase it. :) Unfortunately I really didn't get any pictures of that. It was fun to watch though. :-)
