So, It is Picture Monday again. =) However, I haven't really taken any new pictures lately, besides family photos and events. Hoping to get out to get some more new photos! :) All the same I did find a newer photo that I haven't posted yet. :-) Here it is!

Boots

So, I was needing some different background images for my computer and I've been feeling a bit westerny or cow-girlish lately due to a western event I've been preparing for! =) So, I went and took pictures of my boots! =) Here they are!!

 

I tried to find some cowgirl or western quotes, but didn't have too much success on finding ones I liked, or that went okay with the picture. :) So, this was the best I could find.

A box... =)

So, here's what's in the box...!! :) Yep, just old school books. Actually the big one was empty. :) Well, I suppose there also was dust and few spider webs... :) Oh, and note-- I have no idea what the books are about or anything about them--so I don't know if they are good or bad, just thought I'd make sure you knew that! :) They just looked neat and that's what was in the box. :)

A quick hello!

As life is quite busy at the moment I haven't been posting as often as I was or would like. However, I thought I would at least post a hello to all of you and let you know what I hope to be posting soon. :) I have been busy with my camera in last month, and with events! :) I hope to post some pictures of some more flowers, some butterflies, food, the moon, people, portraits, sale items, and the CHEF conference that I recently came back from!! :-) All of that and of course a little of what I've been up to! :) I hope you all's summer is going fantastic!!

More Busy Fun!!!

First I want to say Happy Memorial Day to all of you!! I am so grateful to the people who fought, bleed and died for our freedom, and to those who still are fighting, defending and dieing for it! We watched a war movie last night and went to the parade this morning! I was reminded of the soldiers who fought willingly for the freedom we have today! I am always glad to see true patriotism and honor given to our brave soldiers! I love my country and pray for it often...

So, I haven't been on here for a while.... Hello to everyone!! I enjoyed catching up on all the blogs I follow! :) What's been keeping me busy?? Well, quite a bit actually. I've been sewing, watching siblings, spring cleaning, helping and attending a wedding, :-) and other little things!!!  I'd have to say watching my siblings for five days and helping out with the wedding has been the most enjoyable things I've been doing! Here are a few pictures from the wedding, I got a LOT of pictures!!!!!! The groom is like a brother to me! His family Is family. :) It is always a joy to see them!! So glad God gives me such wonderful friends!!!!!!! :-)

Rainbow and Storms

I had a missed opportunity the other day. My mother and I went out yesterday evening right before a short storm we were about to have, we could see lighting in the distance. Well, my mother did tell me I should bring my camera just in case there were some good shoots while we were in town, however it was to be a quick trip so I said I'd wait till another time. It turns out I should of taken her wonderful advice, as usual. :) On our way home we stopped to get some gas and while we were there the sun came out while it was still raining and of course that usually means a rainbow!! :) It was a beautiful rainbow with beautiful bold colors and half of it was a double rainbow!!!!! Not only could we see the whole thing but also it was lighting in the distance which would of made a perfect picture!!! :-) But it was not to be, at least not that scene. However, when we arrived at home the rainbow was still in the sky so I was able to get a few pictures of it from our house! :) It just wasn't as clear. :) So, here  it is....

 

Today we also have had a lot of rain. :) Where we live it flash floods quite often, at least in the rainy season. Here are some pictures of our wonderful raging creek which dropped leaves, sticks, logs and such all over our freshly mowed yard. :) More work. :) However after the rain stopped for a bit, and the water went down, I took our dogs for a walk and got some after pictures. I also liked the way everything looked so green. The dark trees and the light green leaves I particularly enjoyed. :)
